Laudona parish is located on the NW edge of the Eastern Latvia lowland. The largest part of the territory is occupied by Arona hill plain, East Jersika plain. Arona hill plain relief consists mainly of hill plains and ridges that in hollows and along the rivers turns into wavy and flat flatlands. Surface drainage - difficult. In the middle part of the parish territory, the Madonas-Trepe wall extends in the NW direction, which is characterized by a broken relief - high hills alternate with deep depressions, where small lakes or swamps have formed. The Madonas-Trepe wall is separated from the Prauliena hill by a wide swampy depression Dūku-Svēte depression, where fresh water limestone has been deposited.
