Social rehabilitation of children affected by illegal activities: Children who have suffered from violence can receive social rehabilitation with us( physical, emotional, sexual, neglect) . A trusted person of the child can be accepted as a companion( mother, foster mother), if necessary. The child is admitted for 30 days or 60 days if criminal proceedings have been initiated for a criminal offense. This service is paid for by the state and administered by the Latvian Children's Fund. The service is regulated by the MK 22.12.2009. regulations no. 1613 “Procedure for providing necessary assistance to a child who has suffered from unlawful acts.
