"JURA PODNIEKA STUDIJA" began its work as an independent entity in 1989. in which it produced a five - series film about the Soviet Union "Mēs" in collaboration with "Chanel 4" ( England) . Outstanding Latvian documentary filmmaker Juris Podnieks and his team bravely captured unique testimonies of the Soviet Union on the eve of its collapse.
