The child is admitted for 30 days or 60 days if criminal proceedings have been initiated for a criminal offense. This service is paid for by the state and administered by the Latvian Children's Fund. The service is regulated by the MK 22.12.2009. regulations no. 1613 “Procedure for providing necessary assistance to a child who has suffered from unlawful acts.
